Penelope is so Vibrant!

Have you seen the Penelope paper packet?  The papers are so colorful you'll fall in love with them right away!  Here is a one-page layout I did with my left over papers after making a 6 page layout which I'll be posting soon.

I used one of the Picture My Life cards on this layout that also comes with the Penelope paper packet.  We now have Picture My Life cards that also come in the paper packet which you can add to your lay outs or create a Pocket Scrapbook page too!  I love mixing the pocket pages in with my traditional lay outs, they look so awesome in the album plus you finish scrapbooking so much faster.

I also used the Share the Love stamp set which is on special this month for $17.95.  If you buy the stamp set $7 will be donated to Operation Smile which helps children with cleft palate surgeries. A wonderful cause to donate to plus the stamp is too cute to pass up.

Regatta is so Beautiful!!

My little cutie and her crazy hair makes me smile every time.  She really has a head of hair and its so curly too.  When I saw this picture of her I knew it was perfect for the Regatta paper packet.  Especially when I saw her in this cute anchor bathing suit!  How perfect is that?  And this photo is 4 years old so I did not pre-plan this!! LOL Regatta wasn't even designed yet!

So I created this one page using the regatta paper as my background card stock.  I then used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge to cut the honeycomb overlay in Whisper card stock.  The overlay is on page 67 of the manual and I used "fit to page" to get it to cut at the size of the card stock.  I then used the Regatta Complements, Beach Days stamp set and Artistry Cricut cartridge for octopus and crab shapes to stamp.  Too cute!

Share the Love

I wanted to share with you one more easy quick Valentine gift I made using the Boxes, Tags and Packages stamp set (see my previous post).  I love how versatile this stamp set is so you can really use it for any theme by changing the ink colors.  I cut some hearts with my Artistry Cricut cartridge and then added it with the tag to this tiny bag I found at Hobby Lobby.  Easy Peezy!!

I also wanted to share some quick cards to make using the Share the Love stamp set which is available only this month for $17.95 and $7 goes to Operation Smile helping children with cleft surgeries.  It only costs $240 to perform a surgery for a child so why wouldn't you want to buy this cute stamp and help a child?  Plus the stamp set is just too cute.  Make these small cards by cutting a sheet of card stock at 6" x 3", folding in half then stamping!  Another easy peezy project!

Happy Valentines Day!!

Did you finish all your Valentines Day crafts?  Well I had a bit of a hard time with mine!  Remember I was going to share my painted mason jar?  Well it didn't quite work out… LOL.  I spray painted the jar, but I just couldn't get the paint to look like it wasn't running down.  It just didn't look pretty, look like paint drops were falling so I went the easy route instead!  I spray painted the lid only and bought a regular red mason jar.  I then added my cute little tag and tied it around with some twine.  The jar was filled up with candy kisses.  Voila it was done!

I also bought a $1.99 mug at Starbucks and filled it with small chocolate chip cookies.  I then added a tag with twine around the mug and I now had me two cute Teacher Valentines treats!
