I have two little ones in 2nd and 4th grade and when I saw this kit I knew I had to have it.  I've started my kit and it is perfect for to save all those memorable papers your children bring home from school. The kit is easy to complete and keeps you organized!

Here is a closer look at each page you will make for all the school years.  The kit uses a folio which is exactly like a file folder.  You decorate each side of the folder and create a divider inside that will keep your papers separated for each year.  There are easy follow instructions you download to help you complete the kit.

August Stamp of the Month

I am so loving creating with the Stamp of the Month - For the Love of Crafting I whipped up two more cards and just had to share them with you!

I think this little typewriter is too cute!  For some reason I am in love with mini typewriters and cameras!  I always buy any set with those two images, LOL so you can imagine how many I have.

Both cards I made using the "Beautiful Friendship" papers and Thin Cuts border dies.  I also made the little notebook paper from our Artbooking Cricut cartridge.  Our Cricut cartridges are awesome!  Close To My Heart partnered with Cricut a few years back and created cartridges that match our stamp sets!  The Artbooking cartridge has 700 images, comes with 3 D-size stamps sets and can be purchased digital for $69 or physical cartridge for $89.  It's an awesome collection to have.  I have all the CTMH collections and each one is so worth it!

Back to School 

Yes, believe it or not but back to school is just around the corner, Yikes!  I've started on a few small projects for school and one is a couple of bookmarkers for the teachers.  I've always been an avid reader since I was small and couldn't wait for my Scholastic books to arrive.  

I thought I would make the teacher's a bookmark they could use for their teacher planner, book or wherever they choose to place it.

These are my first two I made and I used the "School Kids" Thin Cuts and stamp set.  I've used this set so many times for teacher gifts and tags since it was released.  Making a bookmark is a quick easy project to make and I'm sure the teacher's will love receiving a personal gift made just for them!

Once I got started I couldn't stop and made a couple more using the "Beautiful Friendship" paper packet and of course the School Kids set again! LOL

I know the picture is a bit fuzzy, don't know why it came out not as clear, but I'm definitely not a photographer and usually comes out clearer.  I'll work on it!

This one is my favorite and made it for me!  I used the Beautiful Friendship paper packet again but also the fun Stamp of the Month "For the Love of Crafting".  This set is totally me, I ❤️ crafting and thought I could use a bookmark for my planner!

Happy, happy dance!!  Aside of being a card maker and branching out to scrapbooking and all sorts of paper crafting over the years, my absolute favorite is making mini albums.  I browse Pinterest all the time for crafting inspiration ideas on making mini albums and now Close To My Heart has introduced a new product line called Story By Stacy!!  I am so excited and already created my first little mini album.  You might be wondering who is Stacy?

This is Stacy Julian!  She has been focused with preserving memories since the 1990's and was once a Close To My Heart consultant when the company was formerly called D.O.T.S.  I've been fortunate to see her speak at one of our conventions and she is very inspirational.  You have to visit her blog at https://www.stacyjulian.com/blog/ and read more about her including preserving memories of a lifetime.  The f

antastic news is she has now partnered with Close To My Heart and has created StoryBy Stacy memory mini books.

These are the  adorable little mini books.  They hold 4x4 photos which you can easily crop a 4x6 photo to fit in the books or print the 4x4 photos.  There are 3 patterns currently to choose from.  I picked the red as my first one.  Each book has 10 memory protectors, 22 cards to journal and stamp sentiments or images on and each book is hard cover.

As you can see the journaling cards are perfect for stamping and journaling.  You receive plenty with each book, 22 total.

Plus we have a new cute tiny little Trimmer made by Friskars and great name brand company that provides awesome quality products.  Who wouldn't want this trimmer?  I purchased mine right away, I'm so into tiny little things.  

I took some quick photos of my little mini book I made.  It's a mini book I made for my niece, the first photo I stamped the journaling card so she can journal notes from her trip.  The second photo I stamped images and using adhesive I placed them right on top of the photo protector.  The last photo I made an envelope I taped right inside the front cover where I placed more photos for her to pull out as she shares her book!

Story by Stacy mini albums are perfect for those who think they have no time to scrap.  One can easily be made in 1/2 hour to an hour depending how much time you want to embellish it.  They make great gifts and perfect for everyone of all ages to make!  Try one you'll LOVE them too!
