Live Beautifully is almost GONE

Live Beautifully-

Just a few days left to purchase your "Live Beautifully" paper packet.  Make beautiful cards mini albums and layouts.  Here are 3 of my layouts to share with you.

The Live Beautifully has been a great promotion for May and the papers are very versatile.  This promotion is only available in May so don't hold off on purchasing it.

Wreath Thin Cut

I wanted to share the this beautiful wreath Thin Cut I've enjoyed using for card making.  It's only $16.95 and comes with the stamp too.

Use the Thin Cut with your favorite die cutting tool and stamping the image for cards and scrapbook layouts.  Use it time and time again for various themes including Christmas and Birthdays.  I used it with this card as a condolence card.

Have a great weekend!

Live Beautifully

Live Beautifully is Beautiful!

If you haven't purchased the Live Beautifully papers which happens to be the promotion this month then you are missing out!  It is beautiful and fits many themes such as birthday, weddings, heritage, Holy Communion and so many more.

These are two of my layouts I want to share with you I have made for a teacher retiring at the end of the school year.  I am working on a 10 page album for her and I know she will love it!  She has taught for over 30 years and has made such an impact to my daughter when she was in Kindergarten including many more children.

I thought this photo was perfect with the Live Beautifully paper packet because of the black and white photo and I love the poses!

I used the "happy" Thin Cuts and Flower Market Cricut cartridge for the flower and "Friends" font.  The best part about this promotion is you have so many buying options to choose from.  Visit my website at www.Crazy4stamps.ctmh by clicking here, http://crazy4stamps.closetomyheart.com/ctmh/promotions/campaigns/1705-nsm-live-beautifully.aspxto see them all or refer back to my previous post.

Enjoy and have a great day!

Thank You Teachers and Nurses!!

Teachers & Nurses Appreciation Week-

I so much appreciate Teachers and all the dedication they put forth in helping students.  It wasn't until I had my two little ones and they started pre-school did I see first hand what teachers really do.  Not only do they care so much for the children but they spend plenty of their own money for their classroom.  THANK YOU Teachers and ALL SCHOOL STAFF!

Each year I like to give teachers, librarians and I can't forget our school bus driver, Ms. Patty who is just an awesome driver, a gift for their hard work.

I made these cute little holders using our Cricut Artbooking cartridge and these two stamp sets.  I can't seem to stop using, "School Kids" with the complementing Thin Cuts and our Operation Smile "True Love".  The chocolate bars fit perfectly inside and does the chocolate apple.  You can also easily fit a gift card inside, small card or something else that's yummy.

Operation Smile True Love- $17.95
If you purchase the "True Love" stamp set Close To My Heart will also donate $7 to Operation Smile, a non-profit organization that provides surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates children.

School Kids stamp set

School Kids Thin Cuts
The School Kids bundle is $32.95 and is perfect for school layouts, birthday and teacher cards too.  It's one of my many favorites!

I packed several treats inside these cute little baskets with Chocolate bars, chocolate chip cookies, lotions and candies.  Hope they love them!

Using the same stamps and thin cuts I made cards too although the tag on the gift basket is an older stamp no longer available, sorry....

I used the Enchantment Fundamentals collection for these cards and the colors coordinate so well.

Nurses Week-

I can't forget the wonderful nurses that help so many to heal from injuries and illnesses.  At my children's school we also have a school nurse and my kids are regular patients there!  We can't forget her because she tends to the kids with such care and has a good heart.  We are giving her a gift basket too and made her a special card!

How cute is this card?

Hope you enjoyed my projects!  Have a great week.

Our Cut Above Kits have also been a hit!  Don't pass up the opportunity to purchase one or two kits that come pre-cut ready to assemble within minutes.  There are two themes, baby and wedding, however you can easily change them up to a different theme.

I purchased the wedding theme and changed it to a Sweet Sixteen Birthday theme!  I used my niece's birthday invitation and added the "love" Thin Cut.

On my second page I also added the "celebrate" Thin Cut.  I literally made these two pages in 20 minutes!  I could have done it in 15, but had to cut my love and celebrate, LOL!

Each kit is only $7.48!  That is a great savings and all you will need to put together is adhesive!

Let's Get Organized!

Hello!
Today I want to share some organization ideas I found on Pinterest that work well for me.  I am pretty much an organization junkie, it's in my nature and I just can't seem to help it.  It drives my family nuts.

Card Organization-

When I first started paper crafting I was mainly a card maker and I still love making cards.  I had them all stashed in a box and although it was working for me I found a much better method from Jennifer McQuire.  If you aren't familiar with her postings, look her up because she is fantastic!

She has a video on this specific card box.  It's a Fridge Binz you can purchase at Bed, Bath and Beyond or The Container Store (don't forget to use the 20% or $5 coupon too).  Cards fit in this box snug but perfect.  It is a divided box so I have cards on both sides.  The pink tab dividers are labeled with each category theme and I made them from cutting up vinyl school pocket folders that are only 33cents!  I then used my label maker to label each tab divider, VOILA!  This system works perfectly!

School Organization-

I am also huge on saving my children's school papers.  Now don't get me wrong I don't save every single piece but I do save A LOT.  I enjoy scrapbooking their school years and placing their school work into the pages using flip flaps.  I know years later they will love seeing what they wrote and how they wrote when they were little.  We all know kids bring home A LOT of work LOL, so what I did to organize this craziness is I bought large file bins.  I purchase them at Walmart and placed hanging file folders.

Here is the bin I use and as you can see I labeled each file folder with their grade, teacher and year.  I also added a wallet size school picture of that year.

Here is a closer look of the file folder.  These were simple hanging folders but there are much cuter colors at The Container Store too.  I just happened to have these.  The labels were downloaded from Pinterest, just google organizing school work.

Organizing Pictures-

I really enjoy scrapbooking and I take so many pictures that many times I can't keep up with it!  Especially my kids school years although I'm not behind on that since they are only 6 & 8 years old.  I take pictures of their school year and scrap them as I go, but I really do my major scrapbooking during the summer before the start of the next school year.

So I created this small box and added tab dividers using the Memory Box Tab Divider (love it).  I labeled each month on a tab.  As I take photos throughout the year, I print them usually at Costco and Shutterfly when they have their 101 FREE prints.  I keep them in my little organized box.  This system works so well for me because I have them printed and ready to add to my pages as I create them.

I found this little box at Michaels, but you can easily use any type of box.  I'll definitely be using my Cricut to label my box with vinyl!

Ink and Tool Storage-

Awhile back I shared the Close To My Heart Workspace Wonder System which I totally love because it keeps my desk so organized.  I am so glad we have this system because it really works and is so affordable.  Look how awesome this system works for your crafting.

This is my smaller one that sits on my desk because I use these colors often.  I use the Shin Han markers and CTMH ink pads often and keep my scissors with other tools in the caddy on the right  The top also has a tray that goes across and I it's perfect for other items.

The Workspace Wonder can be arranged in many different ways to fit your needs and helps keep your area clean to craft.  The Small Tray on top is $6.95, Stamp Pad, Marker Holders and Tool Caddy are   $9.95 each.  Large Tray is $12.95 and Paper Tray is $18.95.    You can easily build your system at a very affordable price.

Hope you enjoyed my organization ideas, if you like them feel free to leave a comment.
