Uptown Fundamentals and More!

I have to keep saying, Close To My Heart never disappoints!  The papers in the Annual Catalog are fantastic especially the Color of the Year "Sea Glass" and the Fundamentals.  Just look at this layout.

How beautiful is this two-page layout?  You can barely see the base card stock, but it is Sea Glass which goes perfectly with black and the NEW Rustic Home Fundamentals paper packet.

These are the Rustic Home Fundamentals which is a packet of 12- 12x12 (2 each of 6 designs/ $13.95) papers including some kraft paper, vellum papers and copper foil accents.  Plus the Sea Glass cardstock coordinates so well with this packet.

In addition I used the "You & Me" Complements ($6.95) to add the Our Story sentiment.  There are so many coordinating stickers and glitter die-cuts in black and gold glitter to use with your layouts or cards.

Enchantment Papers

Happy Friday!  I am finally getting my crafting going, Woo Hoo!!  I so missed and have been itching to play with all my new products.

In our new Catalog we have some awesome new paper packets called Fundamentals.  Each Fundamentals is unbelievable, I truly mean it.  They are so beautiful and versatile in so many ways.  You will be surprised at all the colors they go with and there are 3 paper packets, Adventure, Whimsy and Enchantment.  What is so neat is that each Fundamentals group of papers also has matching ink pads to go with them.  Today I played with the Enchantment papers and created birthday cards.

These two cards I made using the Enchantment packet and what is so cool is that the card on the left is the same paper I used for the card on the right using the back of the paper!

Here are my two other cards which I created the same way as the top two cards using the same papers but used both sides.  This is how versatile these papers are.  Plus you can use the Enchantment papers with solid colored cardstock too!

Ink Pads are IN!!

Ok, I have now started crafting again!!  Whoo Hoo!  It seems like it has been forever since I sat down to craft, I've been itching to do it but was still organizing and unpacking.  Whew I am so glad that's over!

Let me update you on the new ink pads.  They are in, yes they are and mine are scheduled to arrive today or tomorrow if the postman arrives on time.  I'm like a little kid looking out the window waiting for the delivery from Santa.  So right now you can order the 7 "Adventure" ink pads which are, Pansy, Emerald, Willow, Lemon, Tangerine, Blossom, Raspberry, and Cranberry.  However just today it was announced that you can order the color of the year, Sea Glass!

It's Friday!

Happy Friday to you!  I'm just about done unpacking, whew!  I'm stopping for a quick break to introduce to you some awesome products coming out in this catalog.  First of all here is the cover of the new catalog.

I always am so impressed by the covers, Close To My Heart never disappoints.  Each page inside the catalog is full of ideas and projects too.  Plus one of the perks to being a consultant is that you can get the recipes to  each project in the catalog!  Yes, CTMH will post a recipe to each project, NICE!


So what's the Stamp of the Month?  Here it is- Purr-fect Halloween!  It's a D-size stamp for $5 with a $50 purchase of buy it at full price for $17.95

My favorite image on this set is the hat!  Why? Because it reminds me so much of the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter.  Doesn't it?  I'm going to have to make a layout or card or both, LOL with the Harry Potter theme.


Ready for new products?  How about these awesome ink pads?  Those of you that have trouble opening our ink pads will be so happy to see these magnetic ink pads!  Yes, that's right, magnetic.  They open and close very easily.  No more snaps or twists.

This is one of my favorite products that was introduced at convention.  I am so excited to receive mine.  They are not available to order today but are scheduled to come out in the next two weeks.

Close To My Heart also came out with a color of the year which is Sea Glass.  I have Sea Glass paper and it's beautiful!  Seriously I love it.  It goes with just about everything and I can't wait to start making projects with it.

New Catalog is here!

Happy Friday!

Yes, it has been a while since my last posts and it's because I have moved!  I moved to Green Valley, Arizona which is just 20 minutes south of Tucson. I've been busy unpacking, organizing and getting kids ready for their new school. We are excited to be here and wish I had Harry Potter's wand to put everything away!  I'm a huge Potter fan by the way, LOL!

So quickly I wanted to share with you the new catalog is out. There are some awesome papers and I will be posting next week. Can't wait to show you what we have- stay tuned!
