I'm already getting into the Halloween and Christmas spirit.  This weekend I will start decorating my house for Halloween and before you know it will be Christmas and Thanksgiving will be here!

I'm creating all kinds of goodies for both themes.  Today I made a Christmas layout using the Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go.  I used the red magnetic chalkboard to place the layout.  I love how it came out especially Lucia's picture went so well with the Christmas theme.  She was an angel for last years Christmas play.

It's been a few days since I last blogged, been a little busy lately with soccer and the kids.  yesterday Lucia had her first soccer game and they did so good.  They won 5-1, it was a great game, but very HOT, HOT, HOT.

I'm still using the Chalk It Up papers and I made this card also using the FREE National Stamping set.  Remember if you purchase $30 in stamps you will get the stamp set for FREE which includes 30 mini stamps.  Very cute.

I also had a customer place an order and I love to give little gifts as a thank you for the order.  So what I did is make a small box using the Artiste cartridge.  I hadn't tried this box before, but I will definitely be making more for my vendor events.  I placed an ink pad inside it and stamped "Thanks" on the outside.  Too cute.

I'm loving the 30 Years of Happy FREE stamp set!  It has many cute sentiments to use on projects.  I made these cards and dressed them up a bit with the mini stamps.  I used the "hey butterfly", "like" "awesome" and the "cool" on the first two cards.  On the second card I used the "it's your day" ticket stub and the last card has the "arrows".  So easy to make.

Hello everyone!  Hope your weekend was good, mine as always was HOT.  In the Imperial Valley where I live it feels like Death Valley.  It was 105 over the weekend so I stepped outside for a short trip to the grocery and then hid in my house!  Too HOT!

Did you get to watch some football?  In our house we are Cowboys fans!  Woo, Hoo they won!!  They needed to win otherwise they were going to have some disappointed fans.  Especially my husband!  Are we from Texas? Nope.  My husband is from AZ and I'm from California.  However back in the days AZ did not have a football team so my husband looked to the east and picked the Cowboys.  Years later when AZ did get a team, he was not a fair weather fan and stayed true to the Cowboys.  So when I married him I wasn't too much into football but have since learned about the game and I'm now a Cowboys fan!!!

Ok, so in between the commercials I did some running back and forth and made these cards.  I used the Seaside packet papers.  I'm also using these papers to scrapbook my Alaska trip I went on during the summer.  The colors of the paper packet are perfect for it.  Enjoy!

VersatMat and All-Purpose Mat

Those of us that love paper crafting of all sorts have a dedicated area in our homes where we scrap.  Some of us are so lucky to have a dedicated room in the house (not me, boo, hoo) and some of us have small areas where we craft.  Well I have a small area, one day I will have a whole room to myself.  I do have a scrap box and I love it.  I saw it at a stamp convention and knew right away I had to get this.

It is a huge cabinet where everything fits inside it.  I mean EVERYTHING.  It even has a pull out table to work on.  I love this cabinet, I will have to post a picture soon.  Anyway I did need a mat of some sort to place on the table while I make lay outs and cards.  So the VersaMat was perfect.  This mat is great and you can flip it to whatever side you need to use.  The All Purpose Mat is new and I honestly have not ordered it just yet, but definitely going to!
